City of Greater Geelong welcomes councillors-elect

The City of Greater Geelong’s Chief Executive Officer, Kelvin Spiller, today congratulated and welcomed the City’s 11 councillors-elect.

Fifty-three candidates nominated for the elections, with 11 councillors elected. They will be sworn-in at a special public council meeting next Tuesday, 14 November 2017 at 6:00pm in the City Hall council chamber.

At that same meeting the council will also elect a mayor for a maximum two-year term.

The 11 councillors-elect are:

  • Eddy Kontelj

  • Sarah Mansfield

  • Jim Mason

  • Pat Murnane

  • Peter Murrihy

  • Ron Nelson
