Geelong Saleyards

The Geelong Saleyards has reopened for the sale of sheep only. At the request of agents the next sheep sale will be held on Monday 24 July 2017.

Drop off times are between 3:00pm and 6:00pm on Sunday 23 July 2017 and from 7:30am on Monday 24 July 2017.

A decision on the future of the Geelong Saleyards, including the use of the site for cattle sales, is expected to be made in July 2017, following full costing of OH&S works on the cattle yards, the development of a regional agribusiness strategy, and the completion of an independent local stock market analysis.
