Background

The City of Greater Geelong is committed to providing quality sport and recreation infrastructure for the local community.  The need to develop a new skate facility in the North of Geelong was highlighted in the Stead Park Master Plan.

The Northern Skate Park will provide skate facilities to the local community, that incorporates passive play spaces and connections to the Fort Youth Centre and other sport and recreation opportunities within Stead Park.

The Northern Skate Park Concept design is nearing completion. The City is providing an opportunity for local skaters and residents to view the plans and provide feedback.
