About the Belmont Market

Since the 1970s, the Belmont Market has been a favourite among locals and visitors to the Geelong region.

It's not only Geelong's biggest garage sale, but it has also been a great launch pad for many local start up businesses to test the water with their products/service.

The Belmont Market is:

  • a place where people come to buy and sell new and pre-loved items, but also to entertain the family, meet friends, eat, discover local makers and artists, share experiences and connect in the community

  • known as Geelong’s biggest garage sale with over 200 outdoor and 55 indoor sites available for stallholders every weekend!

We also welcome and support local farmers, producers and makers. The market is an experiential place to try out a new business idea with real customers providing real feedback, allowing you to build a base following for your future business success.

The market boasts a wide variety of products on offer every week, including popular items such as:

  • Pre-loved and vintage clothing

  • Jewellery and other accessories

  • Fresh fruit and vegetables
