Major Heritage Fund

The Central Geelong Major Heritage Fund aims to support the restoration of heritage building facades, which will improve the quality and attractiveness of streets within Central Geelong.

Round two of the Major Heritage Fund is now closed.

After a rigorous assessment process by Council's heritage planning and Central Geelong staff, as well as review by an external assessor, Council will notify applicants of the success of their submissions this week.

The Central Geelong team are pleased that 11 successful projects will be funded in the CBD over the next 12 months.

The Major Heritage Fund enables businesses to make significant improvements to heritage properties in the CBD. This provides benefit to the community who will enjoy greater amenity in the CBD, making Geelong a wonderful place to live, work and visit.
