Transformation Program

The Transformation Program was originally developed to ensure that the 12 key recommendations and 25 secondary recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry report and actions out of the Halliday Report were carried out. 

The program has evolved with 18 of the original 28 projects now complete or substantially complete and now in business as usual.

Transformation Program 2.0 will address critical projects that are progressing and reflect key areas of change.

These focus areas are:

  1. Civic Accommodation
  2. Digital Modernisation
  3. Asset Management
  4. Advocacy & stakeholder management
  5. People & culture
  6. Service planning & review

The program will monitor and report on 10 projects.

The objective is to enable transformation to the most efficient and effective organisation possible to fulfil its purpose of working together for a thriving community.

The following reports outline progress of the program since its implementation.
