The Summer fun continues in Little Malop Central throughout February. 

Some of the best things to do when you are in the City and love -  Little Malop Central. Catch up with family and friends, relax and enjoy a variety of exciting FREE entertainment brought to you by the City of Greater Geelong:

  • Performance by Inka Marka
    Monday 3 February, 12pm - 2pm 
    Andean music is traditional music from Bolivia, Peru, & Ecuador,  Inka Marka  combine the haunting melodies of the Panflute and Quena (bamboo flute).
  • Over 50’s Morning Tea – Performance by Juliarna and Friends
    Tuesday 4 February 10am – 12 midday
    Jazz gigs which are all about the execution of swinging jazz, but very occasionally Juliana performs a cabaret an amusing mix of jazz, originals and other genres.

    Piano accordion soloist who will make you dream of Paris.

    Award-winning singer/songwriter performing music that’s as natural as it is soulful, her vocals fuse together blues, roots, folk and country with a dash of rock.

    Listen to catchy tunes from Geelong-based bluesy rocker.

    Geelong’s Best Busker – Heat 1, midday – 2pm.
    City of Greater Geelong Councillors Greet and Meet Community BBQ, 5.30pm - 6.30pm
    Geelong Rotary Club providing a BBQ and sides
    Performance by Jack Meredith, 5pm - 7pm
    Jack Meredith is a singer songwriter and harmonica player from the Bellarine. 
  • Performance by The Drongo & the Crow
    Wednesday 12 February, midday – 2pm
    Songs that recount our colonial past. Music celebrating Australia’s shearers, miners, drovers and sailors and the families that supported them.
  • Performance by Racheal Brennan
    Thursday 13 February, midday – 2pm
    Racheal will preform her not-quite-folk-rock, almost-pop-rock sound has seen her perform at Port Fairy Folk Fest, Queenscliff Music Festival and Peaks & Sounds.

  • Geelong’s Best Busker – Heats 2 and Heat 3

  • Performance by Possums on the Porch
    Monday 24 February, 12pm - 2pm
    Folk music duo.
  • Over 50’s Morning Tea - Performance by Plan B Band
    Tuesday 25 February, 10am – 12midday.
    Blues, Soul and Rock'n Roll.
    Performance by Marcus Hayden 
    Tuesday 25 February, 12pm - 2pm 
    A blend of American Folk with funky blues riffs.
  • Black Swans of Trespass
    Friday 28 February, 12pm - 2pm
    Quartet - Banjo, fiddle, upright bass, drums and percussion.
    Funky, soulful, with a swampy, punky edge and rich Mento/Jamaican core, the BSoT takes to the stage with charisma and defiance. They will make you dance, love and rebel.
