Healthy and Connected Communities Grant Program

The Healthy and Connected communities grant program offered under the Community Investment and Support Fund (CISF) is aimed at contributing to the elements of a successful community.

The Greater Geelong council has agreed to temporarily suspend its 2020-2021 Community Grants program, including the Healthy and Connected Communities Grant Program and conduct a review, aiming to re-tailor the funding towards grants streams that will provide maximum support in the region’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Details of the revised 2020-2021 grants program will be shared once the review is complete and the council has approved any proposed changes to the distribution of funding.

The council has also agreed to review applications for remaining funding in the 2019-2020 community grants program, to assess which proposals could and could not go ahead in the current environment.

Recommendations for Round 2 2019-20 funding were endorsed at the council meeting of 26 May 2020.  A list of allocations can be viewed on this page - refer to the 'Related Documents' title below.
