Placement of your hard waste

The hard waste for collection must be placed no more than five metres back from your street frontage property boundary and must be clearly identified as hard waste.

This deters others from adding to your pile and exceeding the allowable amount or introducing prohibited items. It also discourages scavenging and helps maintain a tidy street.

If you don't believe this is physically possible, a hard waste service officer will need to determine an alternative arrangement.

NOTE: If you are putting a mattress out for collection, please ensure it is free of other waste. The mattress will be collected separately - and potentially on a different day - to the rest of your pile.
