Food Access Needs Assessment 2013

In Addition to the Food Security Needs Assessment Report 2012, a further local food access needs assessment was conducted using VLGA's Municipal Food Scanning Tool.

The tool scans food security across the '4 Environments for Health' (Natural, Socio-Economic, Built and Economic). The tool was conducted for the whole of City of Greater Geelong and then focused in more detail on the specific sites of Norlane/Corio, Portarlington/Indented Heads/St Leonards and Highton.

This report outlines the findings of the food access needs assessment and makes recommendations for future action.
