The following comments can be attributed to City of Greater Geelong Director Community Life Robyn Stevens

The City is currently working on a Social Housing Plan that will take us to 2036. The plan will identify social housing needs and suitable land, and explore options to increase the provision of high-quality, accessible social housing available in our City. The draft plan will be available for public comment later this year.
Homelessness services are provided by a range of agencies such as SalvoConnect Housing & Homelessness service, Neami Geelong and Lazarus House. There are a range of programs in place which are funded by the state government, to help people who are homeless or at risk. The City is not a provider of homelessness services.
