The City of Greater Geelong have recently captured community feedback via an Urban Design Framework study for the South Geelong area. One of the most consistent themes to come from the study is that residents and visitors to the area want safer local roads for all user groups including pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

We have also reviewed injury related crashes in the municipality and identified that a high number of these incidents have occurred in the South Geelong area in recent years.

Using this information, along with recent traffic speed and volume data, some changes are proposed to make local streets in your area safer for pedestrians and road users.

We would like your feedback on these proposed changes and identify other improvements we can make to improve safety in your local streets.
